honesty

Honesty (more specifically: truth) is all about fear, being raw, unwrapped, presented, judged, exemplified. It’s about standing on a cliff and being pushed off over – and over – and over- and over again, just for saying your name. It’s about saying what you think is right when you know everyone else will think it’s wrong. It’s about standing up for yourself and what you believe in, even if it’s contradictory. Even if it’s not fair. It’s about admitting when you’re wrong. It’s about admitting you’re not always right. It’s about admitting you’re human, you’re learning, you’re growing, you’ve grown, you’ve evolved. It’s the only place you can truly feel free, but sometimes it’s the scariest place to be.
